AHA DOWNUNDER FARMSTAY PROGRAM
Melanie and Dewalt Mardon are proud hosts of the Downunder Farmstays Program in collaboration with Gigi and Mich from Bale-Twine Agistment Farm, offering international students a genuine Australian farm experience over a 2-3 day stay. As hosts, we provide a welcoming and immersive introduction to farm life that has guests connect directly with the land, animals, and rhythms of rural living.

During their stay, guests enjoy hands-on encounters with friendly farm animals, including horses, rescued wallabies, kangaroos, sheep, and alpacas. They get to experience daily farm activities, learn about Australian farming culture, and explore the beautiful countryside around Berry and Nowra Hill. Our program is designed to foster a deep appreciation for nature, sustainability, and the Australian rural way of life in a supportive and fun environment.

This unique experience not only educates but also builds lasting memories and friendships by connecting students to the heart of Australia’s countryside.
