AHA WILD HEARTS PROGRAM
The AHA Wild Hearts Program is a unique, experiential initiative based at Bale-Twine Agistment Farm—right in the heart of the Berry, Bomaderry, and Nowra region. Designed for children, teens, and adults of all backgrounds, our program weaves together the healing power of horses, connection to rescue animals, nurturing gardening activities, and mindful engagement with nature. Rooted in respect for Indigenous wisdom, every session honours the knowledge and stories of local Elders and Custodians through teachings from The Dreaming(s) and Lore.

Running in small groups of up to ten, participants strengthen confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience without the pressures of a traditional therapy setting. With hands-on activities—ranging from caring for animals and gardens to learning practical farm duties and mindfulness practices—every moment is about growth, empathy, and celebration of community.
